Towers mean a freight elevator and a loading zone, often a lane or an underground parkade with a height limit. Miss either, and it becomes a long carry. So we confirm both before the day.
Downtown Calgary movers
Beltline, Eau Claire and East Village moves run on booked elevators and metered loading zones on one-way avenues. So mid-morning and weekend windows avoid the rush-hour lane restrictions.
Studio and one-bedroom apartment movers
A studio or one-bedroom is a two-mover job at or near the two-hour minimum. So that is $390 all-in at the minimum, or $520 to $650 for a typical one-bedroom, with the truck hour included either way.
Two-bedroom apartment movers
Two bedrooms usually run 4-6 hours with two or three movers, depending on the stairs and the elevator, so $650 to $1,190 all-in. Moreover, we tell you which crew size is cheaper for your building.
Small apartment movers
Small moves are not padded out. So if your unit takes ninety minutes, you pay the two-hour minimum plus the truck hour, and nothing more.

Rates are per hour, plus a one-hour truck fee, with a two-hour minimum of work. In addition, the rate includes blankets, dollies, straps, shrink wrap and basic disassembly. So there is no fuel surcharge and no equipment charge.

There is no separate stair fee; however, stairs take time and you pay hourly. So for a third-floor walk-up we usually recommend an extra mover, because it finishes faster and normally costs less overall.
