Our residential moving services in Calgary cover houses, townhomes and duplexes across all four quadrants. After all, most of what we move in Calgary is somebody's home. So the job is not just lifting boxes: it is protecting a hardwood floor on a wet March morning, then getting a sectional around a switchback staircase in a Killarney infill, and finally having the beds reassembled before we leave, so you can sleep in your new place the same night.
Every residential moving job includes
- Full-size 26ft trucks with blankets, dollies, straps and shrink wrap, all at no extra charge
- Disassembly as well as reassembly of beds, tables, cribs and modular furniture
- Floor runners, door jamb padding and corner guards, installed before we start
- Appliance handling too, including fridges, washers and dryers
- Wardrobe boxes on request, so hanging clothes travel on the hanger
- Optional full or partial packing the day before your move as well

Walkthrough and quote
First, we ask about room count, stairs, elevators and parking; then we give you an hourly rate and a realistic time range. In other words, no vague "it depends".

Protection goes down first
Runners on the floors, padding on the door frames, wrap on the upholstery. All of this happens before a single item is carried.

Load in a planned order
Heavy and square goes to the front of the truck, while fragile and odd-shaped rides on top. A well-loaded truck is why nothing shifts in transit.

Place, assemble, check
Boxes go to the room labelled on the box, and then beds get rebuilt. Finally, we do a walkthrough with you before the clock stops.

A detached house is the classic three-mover job: 6-9 hours for three bedrooms once everything is boxed. Garages, basements and yard equipment are where the surprises hide, so tell us about them on the first call.
Townhouse and duplex movers
Townhomes and duplexes mean shared walls, tight visitor parking and stairs on every level. So we size the crew for the stair count, and we also protect the common-property corners the condo board will inspect.
Family movers with kids and pets
We plan around bedtimes and school runs where we can, load the kids' rooms last and unload them first, and keep a clear path so a dog or a toddler is never underfoot on the stairs.
Home relocation across Calgary
Cross-city moves are billed exactly like a move across the street, namely the crew rate plus one truck hour. So the drive from Tuscany to Mahogany sits inside that hour, not on top of it.

Rates are per hour, plus a one-hour truck fee, with a two-hour minimum of work. In addition, the rate includes blankets, dollies, straps, shrink wrap and basic disassembly. So there is no fuel surcharge and no equipment charge.

How long does a 3 bedroom house take?
Typically 6 to 9 hours with a three-person crew, assuming everything is boxed and ready when we arrive. However, stairs, a packed garage or a long carry to the truck push it toward the upper end.
Do I need to empty my dresser drawers?
Clothing can usually stay in a solid wood dresser. However, empty anything glass, liquid or heavy, and empty particle-board furniture completely, because it flexes and breaks under its own weight.
Can you move on the same day I get possession?
Yes, and in fact it is very common. Tell us your key release time, and then we schedule the load so the truck arrives at the new place right after you have keys in hand.
