Our furniture movers in Calgary take single items and small loads at the two-hour minimum, because not every move is a house. In fact, a lot of what we do is one heavy piece that will not fit in a car: a sofa bought on Marketplace, a bed going to a student's apartment, or a dining table to a parent's place across the city. Those are two movers and a truck at the two-hour minimum, so $390 all-in with the truck hour. Still, we treat the one piece with the same wrap and care as a full load.

Bed frames come apart and go back together; meanwhile, solid dressers travel with the clothes in, and glass tops go in cartons. Say what the piece is, and then we bring the tools.
Furniture delivery from a store or a seller
Bought it on Marketplace or from a showroom that does not deliver? Then we collect from the seller's address, wrap it there, and set it in the room you want.
Furniture disassembly and assembly
Included in the hourly rate for anything we move. So standard beds, tables, cribs and modular sofas are apart and back together as part of the job, not a separate line.
Heavy furniture movers
Solid-wood armoires, marble tables and oversized sectionals move on four-wheel dollies. So we size the crew to the weight and the stairs, the same approach as our specialty moves.

Rates are per hour, plus a one-hour truck fee, with a two-hour minimum of work. In addition, the rate includes blankets, dollies, straps, shrink wrap and basic disassembly. So there is no fuel surcharge and no equipment charge.

Yes. Give us the seller's address and a contact number, and then we collect it, wrap it and deliver it to your door on the same booking.
Do you assemble furniture?
Anything we move, we take apart and put back together as part of the hourly rate, for example beds, tables, cribs and modular sofas. Flat-pack assembly of new furniture, however, is by the hour on request.
